14300.36 - Prohibition Against Discrimination

Section 11(c) of the OSHA Act and Labor Code (LC) Sections 6310 & 6311 prohibit discrimination against an employee for:
  • reporting a work-related fatality, injury or illness, or 
  • filing a safety and health complaint, or
  • asking for access to the records, or
  • exercising any rights afforded by Section 11(c) or Labor Code sections 6310 and 6311.
